Every BoringToolsKit page is maintained by the BoringToolsKit Editorial Team. This page says who responsible for the work is, what that team actually does, and where you can check it.

The BoringToolsKit Editorial Team

BoringToolsKit is maintained by a small editorial team working to one written standard. Authorship is attributed to the team rather than to named individuals, because the work is produced against a shared process — selection, sourcing, testing, review and correction — and no single person owns a published result.

The team's standard is published in full, not summarised here:

What the team does before a tool publishes

  1. Select. A tool must answer a defined user decision and rest on a testable formula. Catalogue size is not a quality target.
  2. Source. Finance, tax, health and scientific tools use authoritative sources where available; each tool names what it used.
  3. Test. Selected tools carry public reference cases — inputs, expected outputs and tolerance — anyone can re-run.
  4. Review. Results are checked against the methodology before release, and the release is gated on that check.
  5. Correct. Material changes, source repairs and known issues are posted publicly rather than silently overwritten.
