Affiliate relationships
BoringToolsKit is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some tool pages may include affiliate links to products that complement the calculation (for example, a cookbook after a recipe-scaling tool, or a calculator for a math tool). These links are labeled and do not change the formula or result.
Sponsored and branded tools
A sponsored tool is labeled 'Sponsored by [Company]' directly on the tool. Sponsors pay for placement and a link, but never control the formula, assumptions, or result. The calculation stays checkable and independent. Sponsor links use rel="sponsored nofollow".
Referral and lead links
Where a tool offers a natural next step (for example, 'compare mortgage rates' after a mortgage payment calculation), the link goes to a lender's or provider's own form. We may be compensated if you apply or complete a quote. No data leaves your browser until you click the link, and we do not collect or store your information on our site.
Advertising
If display advertising is enabled, ads are visually separated from the calculator interface and never influence results. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies for advertising.
Disclosure placement
Each disclosure appears next to the relevant link, in the same language and a readable size, not hidden in a footer. This policy is reviewed quarterly.
