## How it works

Variants combine name parts (lowercased, separators stripped) with random number suffixes, generated entirely client-side.

## Worked example

"Jane Smith" with 8 variants and numbers on: one recommendation like janesmith64787, nothing sent to a server.

## Assumptions

- Only the visible input name/email prefix is used; no other personal data is collected.
- Numbers and suffixes are chosen with Math.random(), so re-running produces different variants.
- Variants are not guaranteed to be unused on any platform and are not stored or checked online.
- The client-side execution means nothing leaves the browser tab.

## Common questions

### Is my real name sent anywhere?

No. The scrambling runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you type is transmitted, stored, or logged — close the tab and it is gone.

### Are these usernames guaranteed to be available?

No. Availability depends on each platform's username pool, which the tool cannot query from your browser. Use a variant and adjust if it is taken.

### Why add random numbers to a username?

A short numeric or memorable suffix makes a common name far more likely to be unique on crowded platforms while staying easy to remember.

### Why use a scrambled username instead of my real name?

A semi-random, non-identifying username makes it harder to find or impersonate you, and reduces the risk of doxxing if an account is compromised.
