## How it works

Glove size is hand circumference around the knuckles (excluding thumb), in inches for US (7 = small, 8 = medium, 9 = large), or palm length plus width for EU numeric sizes 6-11.

- Manufacturer charts vary; conversion outputs are the standard-mapping midpoint.
- Measurements are body measurements unless the tool labels them as garment measurements.

## Common questions

### Should gloves fit tight at first?

Leather gloves break in and loosen slightly; synthetic and knit gloves do not. Size leather snugly at the knuckles, and size synthetics to the measurement as-is.

### What if I fall between sizes?

Round the direction that matches use: clothing and shoes generally round up.
