## Assumptions

- The loan covers price minus trade-in plus tax and fees; trailer, outboard and extended warranty lines are not itemised, so add them to the price if bundled.
- Sales tax and documentation fees are applied at the rate you enter for the whole purchase, which differs between states and between new and used hulls.
- The rate is treated as fixed for the full term. Marine lenders often quote a shorter maximum term than auto lenders, so a long term here may not be available in practice.
- Storage, insurance, slip fees, winterisation and maintenance are excluded from the payment figure.
